The Intake screen

The single most important page. Everything the coach knows about you — and the job — lives here.

  1. 1

    Open Intake

Choose Intake at the top of the side menu.

  2. 2

    Getting-started checklist

The checklist at the top shows what is done and what is left, so you always know the next step.

  3. 3

    Your job intakes

Each time you save, the job is added to your list of job intakes. You can load an earlier job back into the form at any time.

  4. 4

    The three big boxes

Your résumé, the job posting, and supplemental information. Each can be uploaded as a Word or PDF file, or pasted in.

  5. 5

    The details

Your name, target job title, employer and requisition number fill in automatically from your résumé, posting and supplemental text — and refresh whenever those change, before you save. Anything you type yourself is kept. Add notes for the coach (relocation, salary expectations, anything else).

  6. 6

    New intake

Starting on a different job? Press New intake and confirm. It clears the résumé, posting, supplemental text, job title, employer and requisition number, and keeps your name and coach notes.

  7. 7

    Save intake

Press Save intake at the bottom. Until you do, you will see 'Unsaved changes' and your drafts keep using the last saved version.

Tips

  • Always paste the full job posting — not just the title. Every tool matches against it.
  • Check the extracted text after uploading a file; fix anything that came through garbled.
