Running the five-day sprint
A day-by-day playbook for coaches, built on the three coach standards: confidentiality, honest evidence and on-time calls.
- 1
Before day 1: accept the standards
Every sprint follows the standards you agreed to: keep client information confidential, never encourage a client to invent or exaggerate experience, and hold scheduled calls on time. The five coaching days sit inside the client's seven-day sprint window, leaving room for scheduling.
- 2
Day 1 — Kickoff call (on time)
Open the client in Coach Portal, read their goals, and join the kickoff at the booked time. Agree on the target job and the interview date. Afterwards, mark Kickoff done.
- 3
Day 2 — Evidence review (honest)
Use the People switcher to open the client's intake and deliverables. Check the Fit Analysis gaps and bracketed blanks, and ask for real facts. Never suggest numbers, titles or results the client cannot prove.
- 4
Day 3 — Stories and practice
Strengthen the STAR stories with the client's own details and review any mock interview practice they shared. Leave written feedback that points to specific answers.
- 5
Day 4 — Package ready
Review the résumé, cover letter, questions and cheat sheet with the client, then mark Package ready so it appears in their portal.
- 6
Day 5 — Final practice and debrief (confidential)
Run the closing call on time, give a clear plan for the real interview, and mark Debrief done. Keep all notes inside the platform and never share client materials elsewhere.
Tips
- If you cannot make a booked time, reschedule with the client before it starts — never no-show.
- When a client asks you to polish a claim, check it against their résumé first.
- Clearing the Kickoff, Package ready and Debrief steps is what closes the sprint and releases your payout.
