Saving & updating your intake

When to save, and what happens when you switch to a different job.

  1. 1

    Save after every change

Drafts always use your last saved intake. The 'Unsaved changes' note tells you when the form differs from what is saved.

  2. 2

    Each job is kept

Saving adds or updates an entry in your job intakes list, labeled by company, title and requisition.

  3. 3

    Switching jobs

Choose Load on an earlier job to bring its details back into the form, then save to make it the active one. For a brand-new job, press New intake to clear the form first.

  4. 4

    Details update themselves

When you change the résumé, posting or supplemental text, the name, job title, employer and requisition number refresh automatically before you save. You'll see 'Updating details…' briefly. Fields you edited yourself are never overwritten.

  5. 5

    Stale drafts

If a draft was made for a different job than your current intake, you will see a warning so you never send the wrong version.

Tips

  • Leaving the page with unsaved changes? You will be warned first.
